" Big Daddy Graphics: Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I’m not an artist. If I don’t have a design, can one be made for me?

A: Absolutely! Big Daddy specializes in custom design at no extra cost to our customers. The Big Lizard welcomes the challenge!

Q: What are your set-up fees, screen charges, and art charges?

A: Big Daddy does not charge set-up fees. We try hard to keep all of our products as affordable as possible. The Lizard does not charge art fees. He loves to create designs!

Q: Do you have a minimum order charge?

A: Yes, for printed shirt orders smaller than ten pieces, we charge a small fee of $15.00. However, the charge may be waived under certain circumstances. Big Daddy is working hard to enhance their studio’s technology so that soon there will be no minimum order charge. Give The Lizard a call for more information.

Q: Once I have placed my order, when can I expect my product?

A: Our turn around time is usually one to two weeks, depending on the size of the order and the production season. (The Lizard is crazy-busy during the spring and the fall when sports teams traditionally gear up for battle!)

Q: Why the alligator mascot and the lizard slogan?

A: Big Daddy co-owner Rex Russell forged a life-long affinity for the palms, sands, and denizens of Southern Florida in the late 1950's when his parents moved the family to the beaches of Estero Island. Although the move lasted a relatively short while and the family returned to northern Ohio, Rex left part of his heart and soul in the tropics. Forty seven years later Rex and Mindy still frequent Ft. Myers, Sanibel Island, Naples, Key West, and the Everglades to revive their winter-weary hearts, to refresh their spirits, and to revitalize their collective creative essence. As for "The Lizard"? He's an everyday reminder for us on ice-covered, frigid, snow-bound winter days that there is indeed a sun-warmed paradise - a tropical escape - right around the courner.

Our slogan, "The Big Lizard Loves Ya, Baby!" simply says it all. We cherish our lives as artists, we thoroughly enjoy the marketplace, and we adore the people with whom we come in contact on a daily basis. It is a passion for our art, our work, and our customers that fuels our natural desire to ensure that our patrons - both loyal and new - are met with enthusiasm, smiles, and an obvious dedication to customer service.

Q: Do we accept credit cards?

A: Yes, we accept all major credit cards.

"Exactly How Does It Work?"

As a gift shop owner in Dayton, you may wish to bid on the keyword "Dayton gift shop." If a competing gift shop in Dayton has already bid $0.40 on the keyword "Dayton gift shop," your must bid $0.41 in order to appear higher among the sponsored sites in Google or Yahoo, for example. Let us say that you bid $0.41. Your ad  will appear highest on a search for "Dayton gift shop" giving you more visibilty  then the competitor who's ad will appear below yours.  Each time a potential customer clicks your ad to go to your website,  your business will incur a $0.41 charge, but you will also have assured that this customer is much more likely to purchase gifts from you because they went to your website.
